Other French EPR schemes: building products, chemicals, lubricants and more

Updated 15 October 2026 · by Bachir Djebaili, founder of REP·Pro

Direct answer: France runs more than twenty EPR schemes. Beyond packaging, electrical equipment, textiles, furniture, toys and sports, batteries, paper, tyres and vehicles, the others concern building products and materials, household chemicals, lubricants, medical sharps, pleasure boats, photovoltaic panels, cartridges and tobacco products, among others. Each has its approved eco-organisations and its own number. On MyEPR, tick « other » and name the scheme; the mandate records it. It is you who determine which schemes apply.

How it works on MyEPR

Tick « another scheme » on the categories screen and name the product family in your order e-mail; the mandate records the scheme. If the eco-organisation's representative procedure is not confirmed to us (see status), we tell you before any registration. The plan counts the scheme as one category.

What MyEPR does for this category

Under the mandate, REP·Pro, established in France, joins the eco-organisation you choose for this category, obtains your unique identifier, files the declarations from the volumes you provide and remains your contact in France. The eco-contributions are invoiced by the eco-organisation at its published rates and re-invoiced to you at cost; the plan price is the only fee. One category is the Starter plan (€29 a month or €249 a year, 12-month plan); with other categories it counts towards Pro or Complete. Pricing · Mandate · How it works.

This page describes the French texts and the service. It is you who determine whether your products fall under this category and whether your company is the producer: the criteria are those of the texts, and the eco-organisations publish their own guides. MyEPR registers you for the categories you tick; it does not decide them for you.

FAQ

Can MyEPR register me in any scheme?

The mandate covers the schemes named in your order. For schemes where the eco-organisation's representative procedure is not yet confirmed to us, the status page says « in progress » and we tell you before registration; no delay is promised.

Which eco-organisation for building products?

For building products and materials (PMCB) the approved eco-organisations are Valobat, Ecominéro, Ecomaison and Valdelia, by product family. Our procedure with Ecominéro is confirmed since 14 October 2026; see the status page.

I sell printer cartridges or e-cigarettes: which scheme?

Cartridges fall under a scheme of their own; e-cigarettes fall under electrical equipment and batteries, with tobacco products under a separate scheme. Name the product in your order and tick the categories you determine.
